Energy Green Smoothies Revisited Part 2: Jeannette von Johnsbach’s Andreas Method

My last “A Green Smoothie a Day, keeps the doctors far away…” post was and is the most visited and successful one of all in the Raw Food Guys blog. Obviously there is a great interest on Green Smoothies, more than I’ve imagined.

I covered a great deal of information, benefits, and some simple recipes, as well as recorded two videos, showing how easy is to make a green smoothie, and a fruit smoothie.

When I thought I covered all there is to talk about green smoothies, I get an email entitled: “Bioavailable Minerals – Drink Up!”

This incredible and smart article talks about why Minerals are vitally important to the production of cellular energy. For the body to effectively utilize minerals, they have to be in an ionic form.

And gest what, Green Smoothies provides us with those ionized Minerals!

The article also mention other than Green Smoothie ways to get those precious Minerals in ionic ways.

Our contributor and author on this post, Jeannette von Johnsbach, founder of the Andreas Method, sends in her monthly Food for Thought (TM) Resource for Educated Choices newsletter, an invaluable information on Living Foods, Health, Life, and more very interesting, and educational material, not just to read, but very simple and practical to start using them on the spot!

Jeannette von Johnsbach’s Andreas Method, is a combination of different healing art services, which also include Nutrition based on Living Foods.

I will soon include a video interview with her.

Bioavailable Minerals – Drink Up!
by Jeannette von Johnsbach
Minerals are vitally important to the production of cellular energy. For the body to effectively utilize minerals, they have to be in an ionic form.
Most mineral supplements on the market are larger than micron sizes, which means they stay in the bloodstream, and eventually may become deposited in various tissue locations.
The roots of plants are designed to break down the soil and absorb angstrom sized mineral particles. When we eat vegetables, or drink their juices, we receive angstrom-sized minerals, which are the key to optimal mineral absorption and vital for our body and spirit to thrive.
Juicing frees the nutrients of whole vegetables – especially green leafy vegetables and grasses, such as wheat grass and barley grass – which are an exceptional source of essential minerals, vitamins, chlorophyl, nutritional enzymes, structured water and essential amino acids.
Except when doing a specific juice fast, juices are always an addition to plenty whole raw foods in a daily diet – not a substitute for them, because fiber has an important role of nourishing good bacteria in the gut and cleaning out the intestines like a broom.
Fruits do contain a lot of natural sugar, and the fiber slows down the absorption, preventing sugar rushes. Fruit juices are not recommended because of this very reason, as fruit juices have a very straining effect on the pancreas promoting hypoglycemia.
The best time to drink fresh pressed juice is on an empty stomach or one hour before eating a meal. Stay clear of pasteurized, store bought juice.
Pure Synergy, which has been the gold standard for superfood blends in decades, is an excellent option when juicing is not an option.

James Stewart – Rawesome Foods, Arrested- $1M Bail

Why don’t the Feds, FDA, and Government agencies go after drug dealers, murderers, rapists instead?

On August 2011, Rawesome, a private membership raw foods club, was raided by FDA, Dept. of Health and other government agencies.

The Feds took all raw food and the manager, James Stewart, was taken to jail. He was bailed out a week later.

A week ago, in a preliminary hearing, James Stewart was treated worst than  Al Capone and other criminals. His crime? Selling organic, healthy, and raw food!

James Stewart was “ambushed” in a preliminary hearing in court. Given the option of $1M bail, he and Sharon Palmer ($2M bail) were handcuffed and send to jail, because they didn’t have that money in their pockets…

The first comment my wife made was:
“How interesting James bail was so high, $1,000,000. Usually the bail amount is according to the crime or offense. That means the government agencies are so scared of how much money can be made on raw-organic food sales”

I went o Google “bail amounts” and to my surprise there is a comprehensive table of Bail Amounts, with more than 300 Offenses listed:
Guess what is the highest amount?

Code Section 187 Murder $1,000,000

This means for the USA government James Stewart, $1,000,000 bail, and Sharon Palmer, $2,000,000 bail, are murderers!!!

Now I wonder, who do they murder! Some organic chicken, cow, lamb? What about regular butchers? Do they go to jail?

From the “How Is Bail Amount Set”,
Bail amount is generally predetermined by the Uniform Bail Schedule of each county where the alleged crime was committed.  Each year or so, a panel of judges from around the county come together in order to discuss and adopt a countywide bail schedule which sets the bail amounts for each specific crime.  They take into consideration a number of factors that are specific to that areas needs and jurisdiction.  This is why each county has different bail amounts for the same type of crime.

There is something off here. James could have done something not 100% according to the FDA, Dept. of Health self written rules. But “MURDER”? Yes go and see the Bail Amounts table:

I just found another Maximum Bail Amounts, from They say that the two highest bails are for $1,000,000 and $2,000,000, for Controlled substance. I understand that this is an offense done by an MD who sells prescription medicines, like narcotics, whiteout medical need, just to make the money.
Are James and Sharon accused of that?!?!?!?!?!

Here is the official “2012 Bail Amount Schedule” from the Superior Court of California:
The maximum bail amount is $1,000,000 for murder, kidnapping, sexual assault, aggravated Mayhem, and the like.?!?!?!?!

I’ve been to Rawesome and I interviewed James Stewart, and this is what I saw:

James Stewart at Rawesome with clients

What happens is that our government is afraid that healthy people will also have healthy brains and thoughts, and those healthy people won’t buy the controlling agenda of the FDA and government agencies.

Important Info on AGAVE

The Real Raw Truth About Agave Nectar/AKA I TOLD YOU SO CARLOS :0)
(I believe you now Eric! We quit using Agave)

If you are reading this you probably already avoid any foods containing High Fructose Corn Syrup HFCS). The General Public is learning that this is really really bad for you, the industry has discovered something new to con us with, one targeted right at the health-conscious consumer – agave “nectar.” Agave nectar is advertised as a “diabetic friendly,” raw, and “100% natural sweetener.” Yet none of this is very false.

Agave nectar can found in the health food aisles of any store, as well as health food stores. It is also frequently found as an ingredient in many foods labeled as organic or raw, including ketchup, ice cream, chocolate, and health food bars. These labels on these products are designed to make you think that agave is a natural unrefined sweetener that has been used by indigenous people in Mexico for thousands of years. While it is true that they used to let the sweet sap one species of agave to ferment naturally, creating a mildly alcoholic beverage called pulque, the agave nectar in stores today is a newly created sweetener invented in chemistry labs during the 1990’s. Not Good :0(

You might have seen “Blue Agave” that you find popularized in stores isn’t even made from the sap or nectar of the yucca or agave plant as the original white agave traditionally was. Agave Tequilana, or Blue Agave, is processed by removing the pina, which is the root or bulb of the plant, which is then chemically treated, cooked and processed beyond all recognition!

The traditional Agave Salmiana (White Agave) associated with health benefits is made much more naturally.  Agave Salmiana grows a flower from the center of the plant called the Quiote.  The Quiote is cut off when the plants is 7-8 years old, creating a hole or pool of liquid in the center of the plant, called “Aguamiel.”  The plant is then milked twice daily as the Aguamiel collects.  Aguamiel is not the sap of the leaves as is often mistakingly thought. In fact, the sap from the leaves contains saponins, raphides and calcium oxalate making it inedible.  Aguamiel is the juice that the plant makes to feed the Quiote.  It is full of nutrients like carbohydrates, fructans, vitamins and aminoacids.   The removal of the water in the juice by evaporation leaves us the White Agave nectar. This healthy, tradtional and natural white agave does exist, it is hard to find and expensive. Even if you do find some, it is still loaded with fructose too much fructose for anything but limited use and is acid-forming for your body.

Disaster With Diabetes

Because high fructose agave syrup won’t spike blood glucose levels, some ruthless companies promote agave syrup as good for diabetics! For this they should probably be criminally prosecuted! Fructose doesn’t trigger a test for glucose – but that doesn’t make it good for anyone, including diabetics!  Yucca plants also can contain saponins. – highly toxic steroid derivatives. This unscrupulous industry actually tries to claim sapoinins have some ridiculous health benefits, but you should avoid them at all costs, especially if pregnant or breastfeeding!

Fructose is broken down in your liver just like alcohol and produces many of the side effects of chronic alcoholism! Excessive fructose can cause mineral depletion, liver inflammation, hardening of the arteries, insulin resistance leading to diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, obesity, stroke, cancer, arthritis and premature aging.

If you have any insulin-related issues – high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, overweight – my suggestions is that you avoid all sweeteners. I use Stevia as well as Coconut Necture however try to avoid sugars when you have any kind of problem until you overcome. A raw foodist can rehabilitate the ability to enjoy the natural goodness in unadulterated foods. That empowers your innate ability to eat “intuitively.”

If you want something sweet, eat a piece of fruit, not a candy bar labeled as a “health food.” Even raw organic snack bars are loaded with processed sugar! How can I say that? Because “drying” fruit, even in the sun, is a form of processing!  Dried fruits are sources of highly concentrated sugars and can be almost as bad if abused as any other kind of sugar.

Now, of course that is an ideal. You might have to work up to it, since most people are addicted to things tasting sweeter than they really do. Your body may actually have adapted to an emergency form of cellular metabolism that needs more glucose since that is all you have been eating for decades. If that is the case, then you can wean yourself from sugar substitutes by using sweeteners known to be safer again like Raw Organic Coconut Necture or Stevia. For uncooked dishes try using Raw Organic Honey or Dates. For cooked dishes try a good Organic Maple Syrup. Also make sure that anything you buy like the honey and maple syrup is in a glass container or jar. For the occasional desert, use dehydrated cane sugar juice or maple sugar in moderation. Freshly made apple juice or orange juice can also provide plenty of sweetness – but remember, juicing sweet fruits is also a form of processing that concentrates sugars so should be used in moderation. If you must use agave, look for raw, organic white agave.

Ultimately all sweeteners are bad, forming acidic toxins just like cooking does. Healthy food is supposed to taste good naturally. When you alter the way foods taste, you confuse your ability to intuitively know what’s good and what’s not. With a raw, live food diet, after a period of cleansing and healing right down to the cellular level, your natural ability to truly taste real food begins to return and live, fresh foods begin to taste wonderful without any enhancement – and then when you have a craving its not just your addictions calling, it really means your body needs something nutritionally.

The Raw Food WAY – No Processing, No Labels, No Lies

When you eat fresh, organic raw food it doesn’t come with fine print on the label that can be distorted and twisted by greed. Every single new sweetener like agave syrup introduced into the market was invented to do one thing – make a profit. Since the FDA doesn’t enforce food-labeling laws, you can’t be sure what you’re eating is what is on the label of any processed food. So don’t eat that junk!

Reduce Your Consumption of Fructose and ALL artificial sweeteners!

How To Lose Weight & Belly Fat Fast

How To Lose Weight & Belly Fat Fast
Here are 10 quick tips on how to lose weight and belly fat fast and painlessly:

1. Drink 1-2 glasses of purified living water before you eat your meal this will fill you up so you don’t overeat.
2. Eat your dessert first as this will process the sugar first which spikes up your blood sugar level and then when you eat the rest of your meal it will level out which keeps your blood sugar stable.
3. After your meal take two shots of apple cider vinegar as the enzymes will breakdown your food and digest it especially if you have over ate. If you do 2-4 shots of apple cider vinegar a day 2 in morning and 2 at night studies have shown you can lose 10 lbs in a year just by doing this.
4. Don’t eat after the sun is down. Your body is very smart and after dark its metabolism starts to slow down especially when you are getting tired and close to bed. This in turn processes the food slower and may not utilize all of the nutrients.
5. Eat 5-6 smaller meals a day if you can try to eat every 3 hours and try to balance these meals with a green a protein and fruit with some carbs.
6. Don’t eat fast or slam down your food it will strain your digestive system and again will not utilize the nutrients will intern make you more hungry later which will lead you to overeat.
7. Eat more 100% Organic Raw Food as in Raw Dairy,Raw Cookies,Raw Honey, Raw Coconut Oil, as well as vegetables. I was pigging out on 1-2 raw cakes a day but now I recently switched to pigging out on 100% Raw Organic Dairy. Funny thing is when you try to gorge on the Raw food lets say like dairy you get full fast and even if you tried you can’t eat any more.
8. Do a full body cleanse.  You might have toxic residue from not eating organic and raw.  Your thyroid, hypothalamus gland or your pituitary gland may have been blow out, especially if you have taken any and yes I mean any prescription or non prescription drugs.
9. Do not eat when you are stressed out the reason I gained 75lbs in the past is because I used food as a stress reducer. Pray or relax before you eat and really enjoy and have Gratitude when you eat as this will keep your Autonomic nervous system balanced and can process your food to the right organs.
10. Do not eat the same amount of food on the days you don’t work out.  This leads to not being able to burn the extra calories which in turn causes weight gain. Just an FYI they say when you eat any meal that you shouldn’t eat until your stuffed of full but just enough that you are almost kind of hungry. Studies have shown great benefits to this as well as anti aging.

That is just my two cents on some things on what has worked for me. More to come as well as video on this stay tuned.
